  • Coordinate, plan and oversee daily activities related to ULD operations and repair at the station.
  • Ensure station compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries and issues related to ULDs.
  • Network and liaise with airlines, ground handling companies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide professional customer service; resolve complaints and suggest equipment, products, or services meeting needs.
  • Execute plans to drive revenue growth through effective ULD management and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer relationships.

Job Title: Station Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Job Summary:

The Station Manager plans and oversees the daily operations in the station to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of company goals, KPIs and objectives. The Station Manager is in frequent contact with customers, suppliers, handlers, regulatory bodies, as well as other departments, mainly in operations, sales, logistics and finance. This role requires strong leadership skills, customer focus and a strong commercial focus, ensuring the efficient handling and management of ULDs while driving customer service, revenue growth and operational excellence.

  • Manage all aspects of the station and its staff to ensure that the goals and KPI targets are achieved, and customer satisfaction and needs are met.
  • Coordinate, plan and oversee daily activities related to ULD operations and repair at the station.
  • Ensure that the station complies with industry standards, safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issues related to ULDs.
  • Network and liaise with external stakeholders, including airlines, ground handling companies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide professional customer service. Resolve customer complaints, consult with customers to understand their needs, identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
  • Execute plans to drive revenue growth through effective ULD management and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer relationships.
  • Provide leadership to the Repair Shop Manager and local team, conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, oversee the schedules of assigned staff, track and retain talent.
  • Handle staffing problems and/or disciplinary actions as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversee the inventory in the station, review the correctness of repair-related invoices for customers.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with budget preparation for operations unit.
  • Review operational KPIs, records and reports, monitor performance, identify and facilitate opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations & Sr. Director of Operations to develop strategies and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a change agent driving process-related change initiatives, support employees through the change process, reinforce priorities.
  • Collaborate with other support departments such as sales, lease admin, finance and HR to ensure successful operations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
