Kleinfelder Inc is seeking a Station Engineer to develop knowledge in station and facility projects at our Columbus, OH office (Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing and analyzing gas systems, field testing, and managing project documents while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, possesses 3-6 years of relevant experience, and is proficient with essential software tools. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
We are looking for a Station Engineer to join Kleinfelder with flexibility to be aligned to our Columbus, OH office (Hybrid). The Station Engineer develops broad knowledge and skills in various station and facility projects, independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. The Station Engineer collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments and may be required to perform activities such as station and plant design, collaborate closely with clients on project execution, cost estimating, field measurements, field testing, preparation and correction of field drawings, ordering material, initiation of permits, preparing operating and maintenance instructions, data analysis, compilation and reporting of technical data, construction support, subcontractor management and performance of other related duties.
