Job summary

The University of South Carolina, Brain Health Network, is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to travel across South Carolina. Under supervision, you will collaborate with medical providers and primary care teams to deliver cognitive assessment and care coordination for patients with cognitive issues.

Requires a post-graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current ASHA CCC, and SC licensure.

Qualifications

A post-graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, and current licensure by the South Carolina Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
Prefer at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Screens, identifies, assesses, interprets and researches disorders of speech, language, and cognitive/communication skills.
Coordinates assessment results with other diagnostic data, including educational, medical, social, and behavioral information.
Consults and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings with medical, educational, and other professional groups on the diagnosis and treatment of speech and hearing impairments.
Facilitates communication and coordinate services between providers and the clients/patients. Coordinates and monitors services, including comprehensive tracking of patients’ compliance in relation to care plan objectives.
