NC State University in Raleigh, NC, invites applications for an Extension Assistant Professor for On-site Wastewater Management. This statewide training role leads certification schools, workshops, and continuing education to prepare professionals for licensure, deliver instruction at the Lake Wheeler Field Laboratory and other sites, and support biosolids land application training.

The position requires a Ph.D.

Formación

• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to teach and communicate effectively with adult learners.
• Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate applied, hands-on training programs.
• Knowledge of on-site wastewater treatment systems and soils of North Carolina.
• Writing skills for producing reports, extension bulletins, and training materials.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, schedule, and teach certification schools, workshops, and continuing education courses for on-site wastewater professionals across the state.
• Deliver instruction on on-site wastewater system design, installation, operation, and maintenance, and land application of biosolids.
• Assist in organizing the NC Onsite Treatment Conference and coordinate program logistics.
• Evaluate training programs using participant surveys and learning assessments.
