Job summary

The Senior Program Manager at University of South Florida's Florida Center for Nursing provides strategic leadership, design, and execution oversight for academic and workforce development initiatives. The position requires a Bachelor's with 4+ years of PM experience or an advanced degree with 2+ years, with preference for MSN/MHA/MPH

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of project management experience or Master's degree plus 2 years of project management experience.
• Some positions may require project management certification.
• Degree equivalency clause and SB 1310 compliance are noted.

Responsibilities

• Architect, schedule, and personally facilitate a statewide calendar of regional presentations, workshops, and educational initiatives across Florida.
• Direct the planning, curriculum design, and delivery of high-impact industry symposiums and statewide nursing leadership conferences.
• Oversee collaboration planning with Outreach, MarCom, and Project Management teams to drive statewide attendee acquisition and logistics.
• Directly supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate FCN staff; manage workload distribution and professional development.
• Drive long-term vision, design, and multi-year planning of statewide nursing workforce training, consultation, and programs.
• Represent FCN at regional summits, legislative education workshops, and professional forums.
• Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership.
