Job summary

Qualifications

• Admission to Ohio Bar; 18 months’ experience as licensed attorney; 6 months’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates legal activities for major departmental or system-wide initiatives.
• Represents the department on multi-agency or statewide policy groups.
• Provides legal advice to administrative leadership, legal staff, and internal constituencies.
• Liaises with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office on assigned questions and topics.
• Assists in litigation support, case review, and documentation.
