Job summary

The Division of Administration’s Office of Technology Services is seeking an IT security professional to monitor, triage, and respond to cyber threats across state systems. You will coordinate incident response, analyze security alerts, and support remediation across multiple agencies to safeguard state information assets.

Responsibilities include incident log documentation, tuning detection logic, and collaborating with the CrowdStrike managed service team and OTS units to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in information technology; OR

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and investigate real-time security alerts generated through Cortex XSIAM and CrowdStrike Falcon Complete.
• Validate high-priority threat notifications and execute initial containment per incident playbooks.
• Coordinate remediation workflows with the CrowdStrike team and OTS verticals.
• Document findings and actions in the centralized incident log.
• Assist in tuning detection logic and automated responses to reduce false positives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field

Associate's degree in information technology

Bachelor’s degree with twenty‑four semester hours in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics

Master’s degree in information technology

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of information technology experience
