Position Summary

The Infection Preventionist (IP) will develop and implement infection prevention and control programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role involves supervising nursing activities, applying principles of epidemiology, surveillance, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and adaptability.

Minimum Requirements

• Current DE nursing license or compact license
• At least five years of clinical/healthcare experience, including two years in Infection Control
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) to be achieved within six months
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development is preferred
