Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Administrative Officer 3 in the Bureau of Workers' Compensation - Health and Safety Division to strengthen statewide health and safety programs for employers and workers. You will help guide program strategy and lead a mission-driven team focused on leadership and service.

Work is full-time with potential telework options; in-office presence required two days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 2 or four years of office management experience including personnel management budgeting or procurement; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight: Manage statewide safety programs and ensure alignment with laws and regulations.
• Staff Leadership: Direct clerical and technical staff by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and supporting training.
• Training Management: Coordinate health and safety training efforts and guide development of program content.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with regulated groups and support meetings, outreach, and collaboration.
• Communication Review: Evaluate written materials for accuracy and clarity to support program messaging.
