Qualifications

• Associate degree required; six years fire department operations or training experience; substitutions allowed.
• IFSAC or Pro Board Instructor II/III certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with agencies and the public.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and safety standards applicable to fire training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and instruct fire service programs from entry to advanced officer levels.
• Develop course design, curriculum and testing in line with NFPA, IFSAC and Pro Board.
• Assess training needs and maintain documentation and reports.
