New Mexico Department of Health (Family Planning Program) seeks an RN Consultant to provide nursing services within clinical teams, ensuring policy compliance and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include conducting site visits (25–30 annually), offering consultation to field staff, and coordinating program updates. A NM RN license and 3+ years in family planning are required, with strong Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Formación

• RN license to practice in New Mexico and three years of related nursing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with program staff to assure access to high-quality sexual and reproductive health services.
• Schedule and conduct site visits to Title X clinics (approximately 25–30 sites per year) for quality review and follow-up.
• Participate in clinical teams to meet federal and state grant goals and report outcomes.
• Provide consultation, education, technical review, and training to field clinical staff.
• Monitor contracts with vendors and provider sites and oversee lab and pharmacy budgets.
• Coordinate FPP manuals, protocol updates, and program website communications.
• Engage in community outreach activities and other duties as assigned.
