Job summary

Tennessee Secretary of State's Division of Elections seeks an Assistant Director for Election Technology to lead statewide election technology strategy, cybersecurity, and data governance. You will coordinate with the IT Division, oversee election systems, and ensure efficient operation and modernization across Tennessee's county networks.

Ideal candidates will have extensive IT leadership experience, strong cybersecurity expertise, and familiarity with election systems and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide election technology strategy and governance.
• Coordinate day-to-day operation of state election tech systems.
• Support cybersecurity policies and incident response planning.
• Provide technical support to 95 county election commissions.
• Prepare data for GoVoteTN and voter lookup tools.
• Deliver training and develop executive dashboards.
