Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is seeking a detail‑oriented Outreach Manager for the Behavioral Safety Team to lead statewide traffic safety education initiatives and coordinate school, community, and corporate outreach programs across Utah.

The role requires a proven project manager, strong public speaking skills, and experience in stakeholder engagement, curriculum compliance, and data-driven reporting. Travel statewide is expected with some bilingual outreach opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of education/experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel statewide.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate virtual and in-person outreach sessions and manage registrations and post-event reporting.
• Direct training and supervision of outreach presenters to ensure high-quality, accurate safety messaging.
• Build relationships with schools, PTA leaders, teachers, trucking companies, motor carriers, and corporate partners.
• Schedule and manage UDOT participation in statewide events, including Spanish-language sessions, and coordinate logistics.
• Develop and expand programs such as the Liaison Program, High School Peer-to-Peer, and Zero Hero.
