BlueWay Mobility / Wislove Brydriver LLC is seeking an Independent Contractor to help build Wisconsin’s local, community-run transportation network. You’ll recruit community groups, businesses, nonprofits, and drivers across eight regions, guiding them through onboarding with our technology and getting them up and running, with remote work and travel across the state.
This 1099 role pays hourly rates of $22–$25, with setup fees and ongoing revenue shares described in the program.
Independent Contractor (Organization with Two or More People) | The Wisconsin 80% Project Wisconsin Statewide: Remote + Travel
Wisconsin needs a local, community-run transportation network, and we need a team on the ground to help build it.
BlueWay provides the booking tech. The Wisconsin 80% Project connects local groups and drivers to use it. You’ll recruit community groups and businesses across 8 regions and 36 networks and help them get up and running.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. We’re hiring an organization or nonprofit with at least two people working together, not an individual.
Wisconsin has a 31% transit gap, especially in rural areas and small towns where public buses don’t reach. Instead of sending money to out-of-state rideshare apps, we keep it local: livable driver wages (projected $22–$25/hr), money for community groups, and reliable rides to work, healthcare, and essential services.
BlueWay holds the Wisconsin license for operating rides and the main liability insurance policy. Groups don’t have to buy their own. Insurance is charged by the day, based on the hours and miles a group actually drives.
Each community group pays a one‑time $500 setup fee and $299 a month for the dispatch app and insurance access. Groups keep more than 80% of ride revenue to pay their drivers and run their local operations. BlueWay keeps the booking fee, which is $3, $5, or $10 depending on the ride.
Ride types: on‑demand, direct ride, community co‑op, airport shuttle, pulse, and pulse extended. Every ride is booked ahead, and no cash is handled in vehicles.
Local businesses sign up for $9.99 a month and create up to five specials for the community to purchase, running weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly. Businesses set their own prices.
Community groups promote local businesses and earn money on those specials. For every purchase made, the group earns $1 per $10 on that special.
Anyone in the community can earn from the marketplace and directory, and recurring memberships earn too.
Paid through the BlueWay platform on the 15th of the month following collection.
An account counts as active once it has paid the $500 setup fee and its current $299 month. Recurring pay continues for as long as the account stays active. The $1,000,000 cap applies to upfront payments only, and recurring pay is not capped.
If an account is refunded or cancels within 30 days, that commission is taken back.
You operate as your own entity, provide a W-9 and proof of insurance, and sign an Independent Contractor Agreement. You’re responsible for your own taxes.
