Job summary

Willow Haven Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a Certus Healthcare community, in Zanesville, Ohio, is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to deliver compassionate care to residents. You will assist with daily living activities, medications, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while upholding HIPAA requirements.

The role starts at $19 per hour based on certification, with a typical schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week and an every-other-weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant with valid certification in Ohio.
• Experience in senior care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to lift and assist residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques.
• Support residents' emotional and behavioral health needs through compassionate interaction.
• Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with mobility and lifting of residents as needed to ensure their safety.

Summary

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant at Willow Haven Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents. This position is essential for supporting our mission of providing quality service and fostering a family-focused environment. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). In this position you will join a dedicated team who is focused on providing quality care in a family focused environment.

This position has a starting pay rate of $19 an hour based on years of certification

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Three(3) 12-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.
