State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) 7A-7P

Position Overview

As an STNA, you are responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator. Your goal is to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times.

Qualifications
  • Must have certification as an STNA
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and the ability to handle residents at their current maturity level
General Duties
  • Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, etc., including transportation
  • Promptly answer residents’ call lights
  • Attend in-service educational programs, on-the-job training, and meetings
  • Assist residents with proper hygiene and bathing as assigned
  • Follow infection control procedures, especially during isolation
  • Chart required information every shift
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Resolve consumer concerns per company standards
  • Protect residents' rights
