Summary

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant at Shadyside Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents. This position supports our mission of providing quality service and fostering a family-focused environment. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced STNAs. You will join a dedicated team focused on providing quality care in a family-oriented environment.

This position offers a starting pay rate of $19 per hour, based on years of certification.

The typical schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with an every-other-weekend rotation. Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview. Currently, opportunities are available on the day shift from 7 am to 7 pm.

  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment following aseptic techniques
  • Support residents' emotional and behavioral health through compassionate interaction
  • Accurately document care activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with mobility and lifting to ensure resident safety
