Deliver high-quality personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance using safe lifting practices such as Hoyer lifts.
Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and phlebotomy when qualified.
Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems like PCC
Support patient transfer methods using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety for both patients and staff.
Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to the healthcare team; participate in care planning for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection; assist with infection control protocols in acute or long-term care settings.
Proven experience working as a Nursing Assistant in environments such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home care.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation.
Skilled in safe manual handling and heavy lifting techniques.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
Excellent caregiver communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
