What will you do?
  • Help with personal care or homemaking in a client's home
  • Meal planning and preparation for those who need it
  • Companionship and light housekeeping
  • Follow a care plan to provide the best possible care under the direction of an RN

What qualifications should you have?
  • Professionalism, great attendance, and a desire to help!
  • Experience in personal care/homemaking is preferred, but not required! We will train you.
  • You must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • You need a state ID/valid license and reliable transportation, as our clients depend on us!

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care as needed
  • A successful Home Health-care Aide provides personal care services under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
  • Ability to follow a care plan
  • Meal preparation/feeding
  • Laundry
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Follow infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
  • Report changes in the client's condition to the RN.
  • Document care provided and complete required forms.
  • Promote safety and follow infection control practices.
  • Use equipment safely after orientation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Treat patients and families with respect and confidentiality.
  • Accept and fulfill assignments responsibly.
  • Participate in in-service programs and identify learning needs.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Meet state training and certification requirements.
  • Active and verifiable STNA or CNA certification, or 1 year of recent supervised experience.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow a care plan.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a passion for caring.
  • Current driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Experience of 1+ years preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
