Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in Dublin, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our patient‑focused care team. Under the Case Manager, you will provide resident care, perform assessments, contribute to care plans, and coordinate with licensed staff to ensure appropriate services.

You will collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and the STNA leadership, while supporting our mission to improve quality of life for patients and families.

Qualifications

• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Willingness to drive with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Commitment to improving quality of life and partnering with community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and leadership.
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications and education.
• Ability to work independently day-to-day.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care to assigned residents by assessments and care plans under nursing management.
• Coordinate with licensed staff to ensure proper types of care and safety guidelines.
• Assist in implementing and updating care plans as directed by Case Manager and nursing leadership.

Details

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) position works under the direction of a Case Manager. Responsible for providing resident care to assigned residents by resident assessments, and care plans and as directed by nursing management. The STNA works with other licensed care staff to coordinate the proper types of care for residents and strictly follows all Company nursing policies and procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care
• Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership
• Eager to gain a higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team
• Able to work independently and on your own on a day-to-day basis
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice
• CPR certified
