Bluegrass Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA/CNA) to support nursing staff with daily resident care in Greenville, KY. The role focuses on compassionate, hands-on support to residents and helping them maintain independence.

You will perform ADLs, monitor health indicators, and participate in safety and infection control while respecting residents' privacy and dignity. This is a full-time day-shift position.

Qualificações

• Active SRNA/CNA certification in the state employed.
• Certification must be current, valid and in good standing.
• Ability to deliver direct hands-on nursing care daily.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to provide comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents to dining and activities areas as needed.
• Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges for smooth transitions.
• Maintain infection control practices and keep areas clean.
• Monitor vital signs and document accurately.

Position Overview

The SRNA is a member of the community nursing team whose responsibility is to assist professional nursing personnel by delivering direct hands-on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents on a daily basis. The SRNA is also responsible for assisting the residents to achieve the highest level of functioning while living as normal a lifestyle as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform or assist the resident with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to residents call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or by wheelchair to areas of community (dining room, lobby and activities).
• Report any significant findings/observations to nurse immediately.
• Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge to make a smooth transition.
• Responsible for the safekeeping of residents' personal possessions.
• Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
• Follow proper infection control techniques
• Respect the rights of each resident, particularly privacy and confidentiality.
• Re-teach resident to perform ADL skills.
• Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores, contractures, and complications.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and ensures follow-up occurs.
• Converse with resident and family; assist them on adjustment to the community.
• Ensure adequate hydration and nutrition of resident; report deviations from norm to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Perform blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output and weights accurately.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a State Registered Nurse Aide in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.
