Position Overview

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds, based on each child's needs and program requirements. We seek passionate change makers who are curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Caring: Follow licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant requirements to ensure daily care of children.
• Engaged: Develop skills to observe, assess, and communicate effectively with families.
• Knowledgeable: Complete training on child care, preschool, and development topics.
• Creative: Implement curriculum and create engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, or active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related environment.
• Ability to meet state and center education requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activities with children.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range of $16.50 - $18.00 hourly, with bi-weekly and daily pay options, depending on experience and education.
