Position Overview

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds based on each child's needs and program requirements. We seek change makers who are curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you are:

• Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Engaged! Develop your ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as communicate effectively with families.
• Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and development topics.

Qualifications

We are seeking energetic, dependable, and passionate individuals who have:

• An Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, or an active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related setting.
• The ability to meet state and center requirements for education.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
