Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cable, regulated industry, government, public policy or legislative arenas.
• Experience in law, government or public policy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement government affairs strategies at federal, state and local levels.
• Represent the company before state and local government bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Manage relationships with public officials, policy makers and external consultants.
• Draft, analyze and present legislation, amendments and testimonies as needed.
• Lead a government affairs team and coordinate with outside counsel and lobbyists.
