You will contribute to the state income tax function, including compliance, financial reporting (ASC 740), controversy support, and special projects, working closely with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience; or 2+ years with a graduate degree; or 8+ years without a degree.
• CPA, JD, or MST preferred.
• Experience with state income tax, ASC 740, and tax provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual income tax provision process for state and local tax.
• Prepare state modifications, track attribute generation and realizability.
• Reconcile state income tax payable/receivable and deferred tax assets/liabilities.
• Assist with compliance with SOX requirements and tax filings; collaborate with tax advisors.
• Support state tax controversy matters, including examinations and notices.
• Contribute to state tax research projects and modeling exercises.
