PwC seeks a State and Local Tax Financial Services Senior Manager to guide clients through complex tax landscapes, focusing on restructuring, new laws, and local developments. You will lead large projects, interact with clients at a strategic level, and coach teams to solve challenging problems.

You will align state tax plans with business strategies, foster collaboration across diverse teams, and uphold PwC's ethics while delivering actionable, compliant tax solutions for financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in state and local tax.
• CPA, Bar or other tax/finance credentials may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Lead state and local tax projects for financial services clients.
• Assess client tax burdens and recommend compliant solutions.
• Transform risk and compliance into business advantages.
• Manage issues related to unclaimed property, income and franchise tax, payroll and employment tax.
• Navigate cross-border engagements with diverse teams.
• Engage stakeholders to build trust and collaboration.
• Contribute knowledge in local taxes and multistate compliance.
