Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an Audit Manager specialized in State & Local Government to lead multi-client audits with a direct path to Senior leadership. The role combines technical audit expertise with staff training and client relationship development.

Hybrid work environment with relocation assistance available. The position offers growth toward Director/Partnership, and requires a CPA and extensive public-sector audit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of public accounting experience in the public sector.
• Current CPA license.
• Ability to lead and develop staff.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and GASB standards.
• Experience with audits under GAGAS/Yellow Book and GAAS.
• Experience with not-for-profit audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of audit or review engagements for multiple clients.
• Maintain ongoing client contact and understand client operations.
• Inform Directors/Partners of issues and propose solutions.
• Ensure engagements are properly scheduled and budgeted.
• Lead, train, and supervise staff accountants.
• Support firm business development efforts.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
