Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field.
• 3–7 years of communications experience across employee/internal, media relations, digital content or customer engagement.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Experience with emerging communications tech, AI-driven content tools, digital platforms and multimedia formats.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal state communications that inform and engage employees with strategic priorities.
• Draft employee portal articles, leadership updates, safety campaigns and operational content.
• Translate complex topics into clear internal content for understanding and confidence.
• Support executive communications, including presentations, talking points and town halls.
• Coordinate with HR, Operations, Safety and Corporate Communications for timely messaging.
• Draft external statements, news releases and media briefings.
• Build relationships with local reporters and manage media responses.
