Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of advocacy or organizing experience
• Strong writing and public speaking skills
• Experience securing media coverage a plus
• Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking
• Ability to travel and work evenings/weekends
• Experience fundraising/grant proposals is a plus

Aufgaben

• Shape program priorities through policy development, research and messaging.
• Build coalitions with diverse organizations and constituencies.
• Organize events and recruit volunteers for webinars, community events and public meetings.
• Earn media attention and build a social media following for campaigns.
• Advocate to decision-makers through lobbying, hearings, and materials.
• Fundraise by writing proposals and engaging foundations and donors.
• Grow the team by recruiting and mentoring staff and interns.
