Responsibilities:
  1. Integrate state and local tax services with existing clients.
  2. Complete tax planning and research tasks.
  3. Develop an understanding of state and local tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
  4. Review clients' current tax processes to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to reduce tax exposure.
  5. Collaborate with clients' IT personnel to analyze historical purchasing and sales data for reporting, audit, and refund/credit review.
  6. Assist clients in evaluating sales/use tax software systems for compliance and support during implementation.
Required Qualifications:
  1. B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  2. Major in Accounting.
  3. Willingness to travel to client locations; reliable transportation is required.
  4. Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Working toward CPA certification; opportunity to obtain audit hours for full certification.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is $61,600 - $73,500, reflecting factors like education, skills, experience, and location. Compensation may vary accordingly. Selected individuals will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
