Job summary

June AI is seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to own our voice across channels. You’ll build our social presence from scratch, craft internal and external communications, and expand scope as the company grows.

You’ll own end-to-end social strategy and execution, shaping both brand and employer branding content. Collaboration with founders and the team will ensure every message is clear, consistent, and business-focused.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience managing social media (startup or lean environments preferred).
• Strong writing skills across contexts and a good ear for tone and voice.
• An AI-native approach to do more with less.
• Deep platform expertise on LinkedIn and ideally X, Instagram, TikTok.
• Experience with content creation and scheduling tools and basic analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own social media strategy and day-to-day execution across LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Create platform-tailored content including copy, images and short-form video; manage calendar from ideation to publishing.
• Monitor trends and community conversations; turn moments into timely content fitting the brand.
• Engage with audience in real time; respond to comments and DMs; build authentic community.
• Take on light writing projects beyond social: website copy, sales collateral, blog posts, internal messages.
• Track performance across channels; test formats and optimize content based on data.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a startup with a small, dynamic team.
