Job summary

Capital Factory in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Venture Associate to identify and recruit high-potential tech startups for CF’s All Access Fund. You will engage founders daily, evaluate opportunities, and build relationships with investors and mentors.

You will leverage AI tools, participate in local events, and represent CF at community programs while developing a strong deal flow and a robust network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a founder, employee, or investor role at a tech startup.
• Strong network in the local startup scene and ability to source high-potential ventures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking publicly.

Responsibilities

• Meet technology entrepreneurs and recruit them into CF’s All Access Fund.
• Participate in startup community events & programs as a speaker.
• Use Twitter, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms to discover new startups and connect with founders.
• Develop relationships with CEOs, Angel Investors, and Venture Capitalists and connect them with startups that matter.
• Read all of the local startup news and engage in social media.
• Use a suite of AI tools provided by Capital Factory to manage deal flow, publish deal memos and perform at a high level.
• Get ten years of venture capital experience in three years time!
