Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA, is hiring a Quality Engineer to join a startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment. You will develop and maintain the site's Quality Management System, align with ISO 9001:2015, and lead continuous improvement across operations, engineering, and supply chain.

The role requires 3+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing, experience with QMS implementation, and ability to read engineering drawings and electrical assemblies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QMS, quality assurance methods, and process controls.
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits and certification readiness.
• Experience with CAPA and corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and control systems for manufacturing operations.
• Lead development and maintenance of the site's QMS for regulatory, customer, and company requirements, including ISO 9001 readiness.
• Establish and maintain document control, CAPA, internal audits, training compliance, and records retention.
• Create and improve inspection, testing, validation, and process control methodologies.
• Monitor quality metrics, drive improvements, and mitigate risks.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA closure with effectiveness verification.
• Support internal and external audits and management reviews.
• Assist startup activities including facility readiness, process development, and NPI.
