Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a leadership-level professional to build and guide a new manufacturing facility in Michigan’s BlueOval Battery Park. You will launch a state-of-the-art operation, drive lean principles, and lead agile teams to deliver high-impact manufacturing outcomes across the electrification transformation.

You will manage complex processes, mentor leaders, and align teams with the company’s vision and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of manufacturing, engineering, or operations experience in leadership roles.
• 5+ years of managerial experience leading teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing operating system standards are applied and standardized throughout the area.
• Create and coordinate work plans to maintain production flow.
• Promote and coach a continuous improvement mindset within the team.
• Deliver key performance indicators to meet objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Motivate teams by leveraging advanced manufacturing systems.
• Mentor and develop teams to collaborate and perform.
• Remove barriers to team success and boost capabilities.
• Lead change efforts to meet manufacturing standards.
• Engage with employees regularly to listen and problem‑solve.
