Job summary

Frank Rimerman + Co. Llp in San Francisco is seeking motivated and collaborative summer interns to join our Accounting and CFO Advisory (ACFO) practice.

Interns will be based out of our San Francisco office, with mobility for training and offsite activities; in-office three days per week. The internship runs June 15 through August 6, 2027, offering exposure to startups and access to hands-on accounting, finance, and HR services.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor's and/or Master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Final graduation date with California CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Demonstrates clear, professional written and oral communication.
• Motivated to obtain CPA license.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 with 'B' grades or above in accounting courses.
• At least one accounting course completed to be considered for an interview.
• On track to complete a minimum of three accounting courses prior to the internship program.

Responsibilities

• Attending client meetings and engagement planning meetings
• Assisting with transaction processing
• Assisting clients with the month-end close of their financial records
• Utilizing analytical and technical skills to complete ACFO workpapers
• Completing special projects
• Potentially seeing clients prepare for and evaluate potential rounds of funding and/or mergers and acquisitions
