Job summary

Frank Rimerman + Co. LLP is seeking motivated and collaborative summer interns to join our Family Office practice in San Francisco, with some mobility for training and offsite activities. Internship runs June 15th – August 6th, 2027, with a pay range of $39–$43 per hour.

Interns will work in small teams on accounting and financial projects, gaining insight into Silicon Valley clients and professional development through firm events and mentorship. Internship could lead to full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's and/or Master's program with a concentration in accounting.
• At least one accounting course completed to be considered for an interview.
• On track to complete a minimum of three accounting courses prior to the internship program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2, with "B" grades or above in accounting courses and a higher major GPA preferred.
• Final graduation date with academic requirements for California CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Demonstrates clear, professional written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Process AP for multiple clients using different accounting systems
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Categorize bank and credit card transactions and record journal entries
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate any unusual items
• Maintain accurate and timely financial information as well as process monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Assist in monitoring client cash flows
• Reconcile and analyse bank/brokerage accounts as well as private equity and hedge fund capital statements
• Provide support on special projects and additional duties when needed
