Acquisition Network LLC in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Startup Consultant to advise founders and identify companies needing strategic support. This is a remote, salaried independent contractor role focused on trusted introductions and a high-quality founder experience.

You will build relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and startup advisors, screen opportunities, and document outreach and status.

Qualifications

• Experience in the startup ecosystem or as founder/operator/investor/advisor/accelerator leader/consultant/partnership professional.
• Strong judgment about founder fit, timing, confidentiality, and consent.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior professionals.

Responsabilités

• Build trusted relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and startup advisors in San Francisco Bay Area.
• Identify founders whose companies and objectives fit the qualification criteria.
• Hold initial conversations to understand company, stage, goals, and needs.
• Obtain permission before introductions or sharing contact information.
• Provide concise context for the internal team to prepare for founder conversations.
• Maintain timely records of outreach, introductions, status, and follow-up.
• Represent the organization accurately without promising funding, customers, or business results.
