Sundt Construction in the United States seeks a Startup Manager to oversee commissioning, startup, testing, client turnover, and initial operations, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

You will lead the safety, quality, schedule, staffing, and field procurement for startup processes, develop milestones, and coordinate with engineering to support a reliable, on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience leading startup, pre-commissioning, commissioning or turn-key startups in construction.
• Strong ability to plan and track milestones and schedules.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety, quality, schedule, commissioning, staffing, material control and field-based procurement for startup.
• Plans and directs pre-commissioning testing programs and start-up procedures.
• Develops startup schedule and milestones to integrate into the overall project plan.
• Interprets and coordinates assignments for start-up staff.
• Oversees safe startup and plant operations including equipment checks and design reviews.
• Reviews design changes and reports to engineering liaison.
