Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and cocktails.
  • Basic math skills; ability to handle cash and make change accurately.
  • Professional appearance adhering to company standards and ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and without supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish paper goods at bars and assist bartenders with cleaning and maintenance.
  • Stock bars with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; ensure liquor room is organized.
  • Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, bars, and storage areas.
  • Assist with banquets and private functions; help with setup and stocking.
  • Break bartenders, make change, and operate cashier register; assist with inventories.
  • Adhere to wage reporting laws and report safety concerns to management.

WE LOVE OUR WORK.
  • Replenish paper goods (i.e., cups, napkins, etc.) at bars. - Assist bartenders in cleaning and maintaining bars: filling ice bins, etc. - Stock bars with alcoholic beverages: liquor, wine, beer, drink mixes. - Stock non-alcoholic beverages: soda, juices, and carbon dioxide at bars. - Stock liquor room with all supplies: liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, soda, etc. - Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers, and bars: sweep, mop, take out the trash. - Assist with setting up for banquets and private functions: stock alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and paper products. Break bartenders, make change, run cashier register. Help with inventories. Claim tips received according to laws governing wage reporting. Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff. May be required to answer questions when a manager is not available. Must work well under pressure, and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. Adhere to all corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines. Must at all times demonstrate ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co-workers and leadership.
