Job summary

Esplanade at Rivergrass, located in Naples, FL, is seeking a Full-Time Starter/Ranger to join Troon’s premier golf and community management team. You will greet guests, manage tee times, and assist players while upholding course policies and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

This role offers hourly compensation and benefits, with focus on guest service, reliability, and teamwork across a hospitality-driven property. Training and growth opportunities are provided by the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license (for golf car operation).

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they arrive at the driving range.
• Manage tee times to keep play on schedule.
• Ensure clean facilities and tidy back room areas.
• Communicate with Golf Shop and Bag Drop regularly.
• Assist golfers as needed.
• Report issues to Head Professional promptly.
• Uphold safety practices in performance.
• Provide guests with scorecards and supplies.
• Inform guests of course conditions and pace of play.
• Enforce course policies and programs as directed.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Esplanade at Rivergrass, located in Naples, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Starter/Ranger! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $15.00 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Great Members and guests as they arrive at the driving range for their tee time.
• Manage tee times to ensure Members and guests stay on time teeing off.
• Club cleaners changed as needed with fresh water
• All trash, including back room work area, tee line and golf shop taken to dumpster as needed.
• Communicates with the Golf Shop and Bag Drop on a regular basis.
• Assists golfers when needed.
• Reports all problem situations to the Head Professional in a timely manner.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Supplies guests with scorecards, pencils and other items if needed.
• Advises guests of course conditions and expected pace of play.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license (if driving golf cars or driving range equipment).
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands.

• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits.
• Able lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Knowledge about the game of Golf preferred.
