Job summary

Troon, based in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Part-Time Starter/Player Assistant at La Cantera Golf Club in San Antonio, TX. You will support golf operations, assist players, and help with club rental and guest service to ensure a top-notch experience for members and visitors.

Responsibilities include guiding play, maintaining rental club records, aiding with food and beverage activities, and upholding safety procedures. Regular attendance is required; prior related experience is a plus.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of Langston Golf Course.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Assists in educating players regarding the game.
• Directs the start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
