Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts and design teams to ensure tower design meets manufacturability requirements.
• Develop production procedures and manage part transition from development to production.
• Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing for hardware.
• Implement design-for-manufacturability changes to boost production efficiency.
• Create CAD models and prints for flight or tooling components.
• Lead on-site design engineering contact for efficient build of parts.
• Create and maintain build schedules.
• Resolve manufacturing discrepancies with quality team.
• Participate in design reviews with suppliers and customers.
• Partner with teams to generate ideas and improvements for current/next-gen vehicles.
• Source and advise vendors from a technical perspective.
