Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Engineer (Starship) for night shift to drive the integration of avionics, propulsion, and structural assemblies for at-rate production. You will partner with design engineering and technicians daily to influence vehicle architecture with emphasis on reliability and manufacturability.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to develop tooling, automate processes, and meet cycle time targets across a high-velocity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• Master's degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience with GD&T concepts is a plus.
• Experience with aerospace/mechanical engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a systems-level engineer to collect production requirements and plan/execute build, integration, and validation of flight hardware.
• Design and implement tooling solutions to eliminate assembly errors, improve quality, and accelerate build.
• Automate processes to ensure repeatability on a large-scale production line.
• Prove subsystem work center meets cycle time requirements or own design changes to meet targets.
• Become SME for vehicle-level systems (aero controls, propulsion, etc.).
• Generate and maintain design for manufacturing requirements for Starships and Super Heavy Boosters.
