Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a New Graduate Engineer, Software for Starship to design, develop and test software used to control and simulate flight systems. You will work across layers—application, OS, networking, firmware, and simulation—collaborating with hardware and software engineers to solve complex problems.

Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in C++ or Rust, and experience with embedded or distributed systems, with anticipation of graduation in 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field.
• Graduating 2027 or earlier with a degree in hand.
• Strong programming skills in systems languages (C++, Rust).
• Experience with embedded or distributed systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test autonomous software for flight and simulations.
• Own aspects of software development from design to integration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on launch and vehicle software.
• Build reliable software and simulations for Starship systems.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic aerospace environment.
