Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Production Director for Starship at Starbase to lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary production teams and manage complex manufacturing programs for flight hardware. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in production/manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years in a leadership role and 2+ years managing indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic and tactical Starbase Production Operations to achieve milestones.
• Manage staff and direct reports across production teams.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to meet timelines and schedule.
• Meet tight production schedules for high-rate production in a fast-moving environment.
• Maintain strong internal and external relationships; influence across functions.
• Lead a high-performing culture with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Champion data-driven process improvements and metrics.
• Foster collaboration within and between support departments.
• Think creatively while adhering to quality standards and documentation.
