Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 1+ years of experience with mechanical or electromechanical design and analysis (internships and student projects qualify).
• Proficiency with CAD/FEA tools and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging solutions for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Perform thermal, structural and tolerance analysis using hand calculations and FEA.
• Create 3D models, production drawings and maintain design data.
• Lead failure analyses related to thermal, loads, vibration and shock.
• Interface with machine shops and production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Own hardware delivery timeline from inception to integration.
• Lead internal design reviews and reviews with suppliers/customers.
• Ensure structural designs meet weight and rate targets with innovative methods.
