OVERVIEW

A teacher's aide employed at STARS Early Learning Academy will support teachers and assistant teachers with all aspects of the planned program. He/she will exhibit patience,
encouragement, and compassion equally to all students. In addition, this individual will aid in instruction, preparation, and cleaning of the classroom as well as give positive
guidance to students. He/she will engage with students in listening, reading, and playing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years old, work under the supervision of a teacher or assistant teacher except when the aide is assisting with the supervision of sleeping children or assisting with washing, toileting, or diapering children.
• Must enjoy working with children ages infants to school age.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Preferred previous experience in an early childhood or elementary classroom setting.
