Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Receiving Inspector for the Starlink program on the night shift. You will review certifications, verify conformance, and complete receiving transactions to ensure accurate documentation and traceability of incoming parts.

The role requires reading engineering drawings (ASME Y14.5), GD&T proficiency, and experience with metrology tools. You will work onsite in Bastrop, TX, with potential shift differential and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
2+ years of receiving, precision, or metrological inspection experience.

Responsibilities

Perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design requirements through eCerts or physical copies.
Complete receiving transactions of incoming product per established procedures.
Approve or reject items and documents based on inspection results as required.
Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies, documentation issues, and packaging damage.
Use electronic MRP system to document issues and route parts and components to proper departments.
Resolve nonconformance and documentation issues, support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, and participate in continual improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Communicate and resolve roadblocks timely and accurately to ensure delivery and on-time receipt status.
