Job summary

Openkyber seeks a STARLIMS Developer with 8–10 years of experience to design, configure, customize, and maintain LIMS solutions on the STARLIMS platform. This role requires hands-on development across SSL, UI with JavaScript, and data integration with SQL Server or Oracle.

You will work within regulated environments (GMP/GLP/CLIA/ISO 17025), collaborate with SMEs, QA, and IT, and help document validation-ready configurations for upgrades and deployments.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years hands-on experience with STARLIMS v10/v11/v12 (or equivalent LIMS)
• Proficiency with STARLIMS Scripting Language (SSL), JavaScript/JScript.NET, and SQL
• Strong understanding of HTML5-based UI frameworks
• Experience with SAP Crystal Reports development
• Knowledge of regulated environments (GMP, GLP, CLIA, ISO 17025)
• 5-8 years of Microsoft .NET Framework environments
• Familiarity with XML for data structure definitions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain STARLIMS logic using SSL for backend processes and business rules
• Build client-side functionality using JavaScript/JScript.NET for UI behavior
• Create SQL-based data queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic
• Configure and enhance UI with HTML5 STARLIMS components
• Work with XML structure definitions to enable server-client communication
• Support or migrate legacy XFD runtime elements during modernization
• Maintain STARLIMS application server on the .NET Framework
• Integrate STARLIMS deployments with SQL Server or Oracle databases
• Troubleshoot server-side issues and performance bottlenecks
• Develop and maintain reports and instrument integration using SAP Crystal Reports
• Create and update technical documentation, specifications, and validation-ready configurations
• Support system upgrades, testing cycles, and validation activities
