Job Summary
- Oversees the displays and preparation of coffee products in accordance with Company standards.
- Leads Starbucks department personnel to promote sales and customer service to meet profitability goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works in conjunction with upper management to schedule, direct, and delegate work to department personnel.
- Oversees designated department and does not extend to other departments within the store.
- Reviews historical data regarding sales, ads and promotions.
- Manages inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
- Reviews profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; provides verbal or written summary to upper management regarding any related issues.
- Responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
- Enforces quality control and food safety standards and ensures dated products are stocked and rotated properly.
- Makes fine judgements about aroma, flavor, taste, and color to inspect coffee products for quality.
- Oversees all aspects of dept.production including preparing, packaging, and labeling.
- Oversees personnel preparing, baking, and serving food and coffee products.
- Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accuracy of inventory, product ordering and associated paperwork.
- Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives and appealing product displays.
