Job Summary

• Oversees the displays and preparation of coffee products in accordance with Company standards.
• Leads Starbucks department personnel to promote sales and customer service to meet profitability goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works in conjunction with upper management to schedule, direct, and delegate work to department personnel.
• Oversees designated department and does not extend to other departments within the store.
• Reviews historical data regarding sales, ads and promotions.
• Manages inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
• Reviews profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; provides verbal or written summary to upper management regarding any related issues.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
• Enforces quality control and food safety standards and ensures dated products are stocked and rotated properly.
• Makes fine judgements about aroma, flavor, taste, and color to inspect coffee products for quality.
• Oversees all aspects of dept.production including preparing, packaging, and labeling.
• Oversees personnel preparing, baking, and serving food and coffee products.
• Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accuracy of inventory, product ordering and associated paperwork.
• Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives and appealing product displays.
